I purchased several Steinhausen watches and this one in partiucular the crystal easyly broke. also the italian fake leather would fall the pin having an opportunity to loose your watch.
Does not support the money you pay for it.
I would NOT recommend this watch.

I BOUGHT THE GOLD MODEL IN HAMMACHER SCHLEMMER AND I NOTE THE WATCH IS 7.0 MM THICKNESS. THEN I BOUGHT A TITAN EDGE WATCH , MADE IN INDIA FOR U.S. $170, IT IS 3.5 MM ONLY. I THINK AMAZON CANT PROMOVE THESE INCORRECT DATA.

I purchased this watch because of the design and when it arrived I was rather impressed. The watch comes in a large wooden showcase box, directly from the factory. The face was a little smaller than my Lucien Piccard GTS but when I compared it to my dad's Philippe Patek Geneva replica, it looked very very similar in all aspects. I certainly don't miss the second hand as very few timepieces have precise second hands anymore (in relation to where they fall on the ticker marks). The fit is very nice and the italian leather straps are quite comfortable. I would recommend this watch to anyone.
